Cathy Critz has more than twenty-five  years of manufacturing, quality, and development experience. Since founding Solutions FYS, inc. in 1995 she has helped dozens of organizations enhance their quality systems, optimize their manufacturing and business processes and reduce product development  timelines, often through customized training and curriculum development. 
Her interactive training and coaching has allowed companies to meet their goals of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 13485 and ISO/TS 16949 registration, implement "lean" systems principles and advance their quality planning processes.  Solutions FYS's nationwide network of affiliates includes individuals / organizations that complement Cathy’s expertise and expand Solutions FYS’s ability to operate as your improvement partner.

Cathy is an ASQ certified Six Sigma Black Belt.  She was recognized as one of the Charlotte Business Journal's 25 Women of Achievement in 2002.  NAWBO Charlotte, the National Association of Women Business Owners’ presented her their 1999 Rising Star Award. She holds BS and MS degrees in Textile Chemistry from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and an MBA from Wake Forest University. Prior to starting Solutions FYS, inc., Cathy held technical and quality management positions with Collins & Aikman Automotive Group.

Abha Dastane-Rao is founder of Janakiran Quality Consulting, a consulting and training organization in middle Tennessee specializing in assisting companies, especially automotive, with effective deployment of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and training for Internal Auditing, SPC, DOE and other Quality Tools.  As a Six Sigma Black Belt Abha has assisted companies in successfully trouble-shooting process problems.  Abha is an American Society for Quality Certified Quality Manager since 2000 and a Certified Quality Engineer since 1992.  She served as an examiner on the Board of Examiners for the Tennessee Quality Award in 1998 and 1999.  Abha earned a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, a MS in Statistics from University of Cincinnati, and a MS in Polymer Processing and Quality from Wright State University.  Contact Abha through our site contact form or reach her directly at abha@blomand.net

Teresa Carter picture

Teresa Carter currently serves as Laboratory Manager of three A2LA Accredited  Physical Test Laboratories for Guilford Performance Textiles - North America.  She has extensive experience and knowledge with the testing of mechanical properties of textile products used in the automotive and domestic industries.  Her responsibilities as Lab Manager include ensuring and maintaining lab compliance to ISO/IEC 17025, TS16949, and ISO 14001.  She is knowledgeable of ASTM, DIN, JIS, and ISO test methods for textile testing.  Teresa is a certified Six Sigma Greenbelt and an Internal Auditor for Guilford.  She is a member of IFAI, ASTM, SAE, and AMA committees.  She is currently serving as an Executive Officer of the Automotive Materials Association.

Clyde Parker picture

A long-time consultant to some of America's major corporations, Clyde H. Parker, is often featured as a humorous keynote speaker at management conventions.    With a BS degree from North Carolina State University, he holds professional certifications as: Six Sigma Black Belt, Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR), and Certified Lean Manufacturing Specialist.  He is a certified instructor with DDI, AchieveGlobal (Zenger-Miller) and Kepner & Fourie Thinking Dimensions.  He has earned membership in the National Speakers Association. Utilizing comprehensive business experience in logistics & manufacturing, Clyde has advanced to the senior management level in corporate America .   He is a proven professional in classroom instruction, platform delivery skills & high-energy group facilitation.   Widely recognized by senior-level management   for innovative methodology in labor turnover reduction, he frequently published in professional trade journals.   He has authored two books: Mozart's One-Man-Band and The Paradox of Power.

Ron Scott’s hands on use of Root Cause Analysis in the marketing, manufacturing, customer service, and non-profit environments has made him a leader in not only finding the solutions to problems, but in helping successfully launch numerous new ideas. His positive approach to human intellectual development and his outstanding communications skills are an asset to any team. Ron’s 35 + years of human resource and leadership development experience have come in a variety of industries, including: intimate apparel, technical active wear, hosiery, and automotive textile components.  Ron has traveled in China, South Korea, South America, Africa and through out the United States assisting in idea creation, market identification and source development for both non-profit and business endeavors.  He led management efforts in the start up of Dominican Republic automotive and apparel manufacturing facilities for McMurray Fabrics, Inc. in 2000.  In the ensuing eight years he also led successful efforts at MFI to certify and maintain both domestic and off-shore operations in TS 16949 and ISO 14001.  As Marketing Vice President for Kayser Roth Hosiery and President of Consumer Products Division of Alba Waldensian, Ron identified specific market opportunities and lead teams that created technical products to fulfill retail needs. He has worked with all levels of retail management in both department store and mass retailers including presidents, merchandisers and buyers to ensure success of these new products.
Ron attended NC State and Elon Universities and is studying via Semlink at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. Richard’s focus is customer satisfaction.  He has worked with Tier 1 and 2 automotive companies to translate customer requirements into production specifications, including full PPAP protocol.  Using strong computer, statistics and laboratory skills, he devised test methods when they didn't exist, and even designed test equipment where needed.

Chemical engineer with proven training and consulting background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement processes.  Bob has strong production, development, and quality assurance experience in multiple manufacturing industries utilizing statistical process control (including DOE, Six Sigma skills, and Lean Manufacturing), project implementation, quality systems (including ISO 9000), customer interaction, start-ups, and cost reduction.  Bob has provided engineering support and training on projects for process improvement, customer satisfaction and conversions to new equipment.  Bob is an ASQ certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a Registered Professional Engineer in South Carolina and North Carolina.  He earned a B.S. Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois.
